Questions for February 4-14

This post is a version of Valentine Scattergories (Your answers should all start with the letter /l/).  I  hope to get back to posting a question each week going forward.  As I write this, I can hear the excitement of the Valentine's Day celebrations taking place at Wilson School!

1.  A kind of candy...lollipop

3.  A treat you eat

7.  Something that is heart shaped 

Questions for the Month of January

Whew!  Time has flown by this school year!  Today's post will include 4 questions instead of just one.

1.  Tell 2 more words that fit into the category and then tell the category name:

-red, green, purple.....they are all______?
-pie, cake, cookies....they are all______?
-big, baby, button.....they are all______?

2.  Tell if the following are facts or opinions:  Remember "facts can be proven that is true, but opinions show your point of view"!

-marshmallows are in the shape of cylinders
-lots of marshmallows make hot chocolate delicious
-Winter is my favorite season

3.  Tell and show someone where your tongue is when you say the /l/ sound.  Practice saying these 5 words:  lion, lean, lane, lake, like

4.  Tell and show someone where your tongue is when you say the /ar/ sound.  Practice saying these 5 words:  arm, armadillo, arch, army, art
